Silver Needles is a premium white tea known for its delicate flavor and elegant presentation. Hand-picked with great care from the first flush of spring buds, this tea is harvested from high-altitude bushes grown in the serene hills of Eastern Nepal — notably in Ilam, Dhankuta, and Panchthar, at elevations above 1500 meters. The buds come from a China hybrid variety and are rich with fine silvery hairs that give the tea its name. After careful harvesting, the buds are gently oxidized at low temperatures and dried with soft airflow to retain their freshness and unique aroma. Finally, they are slow-baked to produce a mellow, pale-yellow liquor that carries a soft note of toasted ripe bananas and a refreshing, dewy finish. Each sip of Silver Needles reflects the purity of Himalayan air, soil, and tradition — a true expression of terroir and craftsmanship.

Processing & Quality
The Silver Needles are picked post-spring, using only the first and finest buds from China hybrid bushes that are pruned halfway during winter to stimulate fresh spring growth. These shiny, lush buds are plucked early in their development, when they're at their most tender and flavorful. After harvesting, the buds are allowed to oxidize naturally at temperatures below 15°C while gentle air circulates from underneath. This careful drying process helps preserve the fine silvery hairs. Once dried to optimal moisture, the buds are baked at low temperatures (70–75°C) for several hours until they emit a crisp, hay-like aroma — a hallmark of well-crafted Silver Needles.
FARMERS TEA INDUSTRY
The buds for this Silver Needle tea are carefully hand-plucked by the women around the Jasbire villages in Ilam, Nepal. Only the tender tips—the most potent part of the tea plant—are selected, giving this tea its exceptional value and purity. Grown on high-altitude farms, this tea is more than a product; it's a reflection of the farmers' lives, their daily rhythm, and their deep-rooted connection to the land. Every batch is hand-crafted with care, preserving traditional methods that honor both nature and the community behind it.
